If you have empathy, you should agree to support the nominee
Most of us came to this forum before the election season began. We are all somewhat like-minded in that we want an administration that cares about people. While we have all gone our separate ways at different times, supporting different candidates, in the end we should have empathy for each other, for the trials of a tough, emotional election.

We should understand why someone would support Obama or Clinton or Edwards or someone else. We should understand that they supported their candidate because they believed that person would would do the best job at making American policies more caring. Should my candidate (Obama) lose, which appears unlikely, I will have no trouble supporting Clinton because I know that many people in this forum believe that she is the best candidate and the people in this forum have always had similar objectives to mine.

Whether we support Clinton, Obama, or someone else, I think our ideals are awfully similar, and out of respect to that and empathy for pain this campaign has caused, we should all be prepared to unite regardless of how this election plays out. We owe it to each other.

2. I have empathy for the people who died because of the IWR Hillary supported
Which is WHY I refuse to vote for her under any circumstances.

6. I'm glad AtomicKitten. Thank you.
I don't understand how such an unforgivable act can be forgotten by so many.

I'm so spastic today. I blame my nerves. They're shot.
Primary burnout.

9. I appreciate the understanding
I'd appreciate a sedative more, but we take what we can get.

10. Yeah, McCain will bring them all back
That's an absurd argument in my opinion. McCain has already called for the hundred years war, and his stand on health care and other social programs will harm even more people. I suspect you wouldn't vote for her because a. you're sexist, b. you'd be angry at all the DUers who support her, c. you'd be a sore loser, or d. you're a disrupter, but to say you'd rather have McCain in the White House because you care about the suffering in Iraq is warped.

5. I'll Take What You Said Under Advisement
Maybe if Hillary is the nominee, come November I might be able to "hold my nose and vote for her". Right now, it doesn't seem very likely.

11. If we don't pull together
We will have another 4 years of Bush's polices with McCain. I for one can not have that.
