Some Ryan divorce files to be unsealed
Judge will keep portions off-limits

LOS ANGELES -- A California judge said Monday that sealed court records relating to Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Jack Ryan's divorce should be made public to show "there is no favoritism to the rich and the powerful."

But Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert A. Schniderput off a decision on precisely what to unseal until a court-appointed "referee" could determine what parts of the files related directly to "the best interests" of Ryan's now 9-year-old son. Those records should not be opened, Schnider said.


Schnider made his comments at a hearing on a request by the Tribune and WLS-Ch. 7 to unseal records related to Ryan's 1999 divorce from actress Jeri Ryan.

This should be a great race to watch. It seems like Ryan is really a complete all around ass hole through and through.

I saw somewhere that the republicans are going to try to paint Obama as an out of touch liberal. LOL, yeah the far right investment banker, "Jack" (posters are trying to emphasize his first name rather than last) really understands the concerns of Illinois.

My guess is Obama will win by atleast 5-10 points.

5. I figured it was only a matter of time

before this happened. If ANY of that info is unfavorable to Ryan..... if he had an affair, beat his wife, ect....we can say, Buh Bye!!!! I have to assume there's some baaaaaaaaad stuff in those files or he would have had them unsealed a long time ago.
