8. why?
As her IWR vote proved, she believes she has to be as tough (if not tougher) than a man as far as defense goes.

These generals have a vested interest in keeping the Pentagon gravy train rolling along, and they expect her to keep the military budget high.

10. Yes...which is why they support Sen. Clinton.....They know this is the person
who has taken the lead on issues like tramautic brain injury and other issues relative to military health.

They know she was in the forefront on issues like Gulf War Syndrome.

They know she has worked with Lindsey Graham on issues relative to our troops.

They know she forced the Pentagon to give her a closed door briefing to tell her what, if anything, they were doing to prepare for troop withdrawal from Iraq.

They know she stood up to the Bush Administration when they were trying to make injured soldiers give back their signing bonuses.

26. so Vets suffered for 5 years after Gulf War and then she helped-then voted to send more for same?
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 12:15 AM by fed-up
Where the hell was she when our Vets were being told that the war was over and they couldn't get medical care. So she finally spoke up 5 F*cking years after the vets came home. BFD

and then knowing the terrible care they were getting and knowing that she was sending more troops into another hell hole she voted Yes on the IWR.

Where has she been lately as things are so bad that the vets have to sue the f*cking VA to get the mental health care they need.

She was NOT in the forefront, the only thing she did was pave the path to misery and death for our troops and for the Iraqis.

Hillary relying on the very things that will get her slaughtered against McCain if she somehow pulls this out.

How many hundreds of generals, admirals etc are going to come out for McCain against her?
