Daily Kos: Hillary Disloyal Democrat...
Hillary Clinton just said John McCain is more ready to be president than Barack Obama.

I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know that Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.

I know it's hard...but try to think about what you are saying.

Wasn't Laura reading in the library while Hillary was out and about meeting world leaders?

86. Elapsed time isn't much of a measure of quality.
Neither McCain's nor Clinton's long record contains much that inspires me. Of course they'd both like you to think otherwise, though; it's one incontrovertible fact that sounds good, and they know that we dim bulbs are often impressed by such things.

Were I Clinton, I'd go easy on likening myself to McCain. A whole lot of people are supporting Obama precisely because he doesn't smell like the same old business-as-usual DC politician.

19. Superdelegates it is time to shut this down.
Clinton is destroying herself and the democratic party. She lost any chance of my vote in the GE or for the rest of her political future and I highly doubt I am alone.

I call upon the democratic party to completely denounce her in public. To take action before she leads us to 8 more years of republican rule. To the supers to flock to obama and end this.

DUers keep in mind that what she is saying by saying this bullshit in my view is that she does not give a flying FUCK about the supreme court and what a republican president will mean for it's future. It is one thing for one of us not to vote for Clinton and Obama in the GE but for her to completely disregard that and give more ammo to the republicans is beyond disgusting.

is really hurting yourself - if you are going to have to vote for Obama if he is the nominee, will you just place your vote - minus the $ support, and your time in the campaign? That's all it counts.

I will pledge to do the same for Clinton, if she winds up being the nominee?

This is misleading.
Hillary Clinton just said John McCain is more ready to be president than Barack Obama.

I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know that Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.

Where in that sentence does it say he is more ready to be President?

75. Explain
use of the words "McCain WILL BRING" (experience to the White House).

Please explain how "I will bring" and McCain WILL bring..." --works for you? She didn't even use the more speculative "would" in referring to McCain. Obviously she puts the two of them on a par.

Clearly Hillary means to ally with McCain to gain conservative support at Obama's expense. :puke:

66. Dick Cheney and Rummy have a lifetime of experience too, Hillary.
I'm sure she would prefer either one of those fascist corporate raiders in the Oval office over Obama!

67. And remember Hillary dissing John Kerry's joke?

She even held a press conference. She's nauseating. Other dems
stepped up and defended him against this smear tactic.

69. It was a SIGNAL, FGS. Who cannot see that what HRC was saying, "If it isn't me, vote for McCain"??
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 09:23 AM by WinkyDink
She was quite CLEARLY putting her imprimatur on such a scenario. Quote, on McCain: "...he WILL bring to the White House." Not even "would"!

Otherwise, why EQUATE McCain IN ANY WAY to HERSELF??

94. She's doing a great job campaigning for McCain. At least that will
give her something to do when Obama gets the nomination at the convention.
