He just said on Ed Schultz that at least two are talking about retiring. He wouldn't say which, but I can guarantee you that they're not Conservatives.

I predicted at least three would retire after waiting for Bush to go.

We have to win in November.

Yes, but unfortunately since all the wacko ones
are fairly young and healthy, its likely to be the more moderate members (our side), which means the court will remain a problem until Kennedy, Scalia, Thomas or one of the two new guys is replaced

And Roberts has complained about their salary. My view... keep their salary where it is or at max just provide minimal raises. If they don't like it then they can resign.

4. Too bad Leahy didn't have the
cajones to stop Alito or Roberts---or to even hang tough on AG Mukasey.

9. Well it's good then, that so many Hilllary's supporters
Say they will not vote for a democrat, if they don't get their way. I mean what could three more far right judges do to this Country?

12. Hillary?
Hardly seems right to be calling her inept. I mean she did screw up her campaign royally, but that's no reason to think she will do the same when she runs the Country. Hopefully she will have learned from her mistakes, like the Iraq vote and her screwed up campaign. Still if by some miracle (or something far less holy) she is the nominee she would still be better than McCain. So stop knocking Hillary.

13. That's fucking idiotic
Neither Obama or Clinton would ever appoint Justices in the Scalia/Thomas/Alito mode. duh.

17. Well I have seen many Hillary supporters
Say the will not vote for Obama. So it would seem that they don't care about the 3 judge appointments. They don't think it's a good idea.

14. Give me a break. There are ten times as many idiots who say, "I'll never vote for HRC!"
From every camp. And they've been saying it for Years.

And you know what... They'll vote for the Democrat this Fall because it's all just trash talk.

If anyone comes around here after the GE and say they didn't vote or voted third party or for McCain, I'll run them out on a rail.
