Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 08:34 AM by joeprogressive
I mean, talk about a cult. If Obama did half of what HRC has done as far as negative attacks, I would have abandoned him long ago for the next best Dem. candidate. The HRC supporters seem like the cultists in their blind allegiance.

I will vote for her in the GE if the impossible happens and she wins the nomination; but she is hurting her own cause on so many levels.

2. I am fed up with it
The type of post this place is seeing for the last couple of week have just been getting more and more hateful. More and more freeperlike.

I am going to have to stay away from this negativity for a while and let the crazies have their way. This forum isn't the supportive place it once was. Too much hate for me.

17. DAMN IT
I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

If you are making accusations, you should back them up with some fact!

I don't know what comment I have made that has you thinking that I have ever said anything about Cindy Sheehan.

You have accused me of this three times today with absolutely nothing to substantiate it. NOTHING!

NOTHING!

side holding up William Jefferson and saying it evens out. Obama on the whole has run a much more positive campaign. HRC's negativity has backfired on her.

16. I guess that's irony, right?
It's where you take one of your own faults and turn it around on those who point it out -- like Conservatives saying that secularism is a religion, or Lou Dobbs claiming to be protecting the interests of the Mexican poor.

It would be a lot easier for us to see the grievous errors of our ways and repent if Team Obama at DU (TODU) was able to actually point to something that was an HRC blunder other than when MSNBC says so -- like all those posts proclaiming Hillary's lack of ethics and truth. From reading the TODU case, you would think that Hillary was a beast from Hell just because some mad prophet from the 11th century (or 1993) said so.

If Hillary were to say "it looks like it will rain tomorrow" and the sun comes out instead, there would be a loud chorus of accusations calling her a liar. So, yeah, we've been blinded -- by thousands of boys crying "wolf!" and giggling when the cameras arrive.

19. Oh please
I think that most of us here watch Cspan and also saw every single debate as well as a TON of campaign rallies for both of them. Many of us have recieved the hatemail her team has put together, and if all of us were drooling over MSNBC we wouldn't be here on this series of tubes getting our news.

Now this thread is total and utter flamebait, but HRC has no one to blame for her tactics but herself. TV News has certainly picked it up whenever she does something hateful dirty and stupid, but she's doing plenty of that stuff without their help.

"Change you can Xerox" etc etc etc. Her tactics are playing a HUGE role in her fall from "inevitability".

I for one have never seen a presidential candidate get boo'd in a debate! Twice in a row no less... painful.

You better hope that the confirmation of the Canadian story turns out to be incorrect.

And I've seen several presidential candidates get booed, even Gore. The press just never gloated over it before.

Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 12:12 PM by DemGa
It's hard to believe anyone can even have the nerve to claim ANYTHING about Clinton negative "attacks."

Obama used negative perceptions created by right-wing slander i.e., Hillary is "polarizing and divisive" against a fellow Democrat.

Obama uses not only "negative"; this sham Obama uses treachery!

35. I just heard her say she and McCain have experience
while Obama does not. I am really dismayed - how far will she go to win, or if she doesn't win? Will she endorse McCain? I think the Clintons have lost it - they just are desperate, and I feel badly for her, but at the same time, this type of talk angers me so much that I may support a primary challenge to her as senator if she doesn't win the nomination.
