I realize that Kerry only has a fraction of the money Bush has at this point but all of this progress that we have made with Clarke will be lost if Rove goes on attack mode with his 100+ million war chest. Come on guys, we need to stay on top.

2. Rice is on enough tv spots to do it for him

they keep hanging themselves and Kerry comes out smelling like a rose. Clarke has also been giving lots of interviews, that helps Kerry too. Who saw Clarke on MTP this morning? Russert asked him if he was working for the Kerry campaign or would work for his administration. An emphatic NO was the answer.

3. Disagree.
Save the $ until needed. Let Busco stew in their own juices, if the heat starts to wane, announce Clark as VP and finish them off.

4. I agree
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush or something like that. Ed Bradley did more damage tonight then any ad will do.

6. I agree. It's not the right time
Right now, the Bush* admin is doing the job for us, reminding the public how they did nothing in the months before 9/11. Why make it a Bush* vs. Kerry thing when we've got something better (Bush* vs the 9/11 committee) going on?

7. Save your ammo until needed.
Then open up with everything you've got.

There are many excellent messages to get across:

The "Bush is an idiot in the war on terror" is good.

The "Bush is a liar and people are still dying from his lies" is better.

The "Bush is a Crook" is the one Rove fears.

It sort of sums up the rest.

8. Lol that would be priceless
if someone were to ask Bush if he is a crook and bait him into saying: "I'm not a crook"

10. No!
Running ads like that now will only enforce the belief that the recent developments are driven by partisan politics.

There will be plenty of time later for such ads. For now, he's very very wise to just let things unfold as they are.

11. You've got that right...now's the time to attack, when the fuckers down.
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 10:59 PM by Zinfandel
Think Rove will have any mercy on Kerry? He'll kick him in the balls when he's down, laugh while doing it and brag to all the fat assed republican boys about it.

Dude above is wrong...

13. I totally agree.
And Bu$h has spread our military so thin that if we were attacked tomorrow we'd be in deep sh*t.

Negligent on terror, negligent on defense.
