Another "Find out which candidate you agree with" quiz, 2004 edition
http://www.selectsmart.com/president/

Make sure you de-check "who are not affiliated with one of the two major political parties or are eliminated from the possibility of a major party nomination" under number 17.

I apparently at 100% with "Your ideal theoretical candidate", which means I agree with a candidate who agrees with me-- if that person existed.

Following him is Walt Brown of the Socialist party at 82%.

(One reason I didn't score with Walt better: I am willing to attempt parental vouchers at a last resort if my "ideal theoretical candidate"'s attempts to save the public school system fail, and we're still below North Korea. I was thinking we could used the tactic in Al Franken's book, which would be to fund two (or more) separate school systems who would not separate their student pool, would differ in their methods of education and ambiances.)

4. I'm gonna be sick
16 % for Bush!? Something is wrong because I don't agree with Bush on a single issue. I have to hope these results are based on Bush's "purported" stand rather than his "actual" stand on the issues.

5. I think they'd have to be based on that
It must be purported and/or published positions, especially since the Greens have not nominated a national candidate (and may very well not do so this year).

Unfortunately, I think any of us would have at least 5% in common with the Shrub: we like liberty, we think that killing people is bad (in theory), we like breathing air, etc.

:puke: :puke: :puke:

I would agree with bush that water is wet, and sometimes the sky's colour is blue. However, from what I've read and seen about bush's record on the environment, the sky being blue may not be true much longer.
