I QUIT!

Polls that is. I'm so done with them. I should have been awhile ago, but they are just confusing me all over again and I've decided to just be done with them. Anybody else with me? Are you quitting polls to? If you have already, when did you quit polls? Why did you quit polls?

5. I do look at them but I think the one that counts is the day after

I was pretty sure of that until Bush and Gore. Course I am pretty old so at a young age I lived the 'Dewey win'. If they are getting these questions done over land phones it has to be sort of off I would think. Even an old person like I am have changed the way I use a phone and it has been over the last 10 years. I am way behind young people so this phone business must be getting some old and really out of date people. Fact is I keep my land phone for this PC only in case the wireless thing does not work, which is often. How do they get my cell phone number if I do not give it to them? My land phone is still in the phone book. I used to be called by polls. Maybe they have just had their day?

8. I smartened up years ago concerning polls.

They fluctuate daily. Any dumb ass knows that.

9. I tend to not care so much.........apart from the day before polling,

and the trend, and events on the ground.

But I don't watch too close...might develop high blood pressure, depending on which one is heralded!

I don't trust them at all. The only numbers I care about are the results...I stay up all night. LOL!

I look at them, but they never tell me much. :shrug:

14. I'm cutting back, I'm down to 2 polls a day and intend to quit after the convention.

But, you know how well that will work out.
One day I'll just be sitting there, minding my own business, and then all of sudden I'll have this urge to check out a poll and before I know it, I'm looking at all the numbers and seeing what else is available.
