March 24, 2004--Forty-three percent (43%) of American voters now give President Bush good or excellent marks for handling the situation in Iraq. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 15% say fair and 40% say poor.
Those numbers are down from a week ago when 47% said good or excellent and 35% poor.

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters found sharp partisan differences on this question. Among Republicans, 75% give the President good or excellent marks for Iraq while 13% say poor. However, among Democrats, just 18% say the President is doing a good or excellent job in Iraq while 63% say poor.
