Check out the NY results for 2006 - HRC is the Independence candidate

Yes, the party she made an issue of not taking the line for in 2000. (In NY, you can be on multiple parties' lines and your numbers are summed across all your lines.

(Caveat - I don't know more than that this is an officiall chart - I was looking for how big it was - but the fact that she had that line in 2006 is more interesting)

I am surprised that HRC mentioned it as it had nothing to do with the question.

4. Actually, the leadership DID change.

The "Independence Party" is conveniently named that to trick people. People that want to be "independents/blanks/unaffiliated" think they are registering that way, but instead they join this BS party.
