5. I hope it's not the "Shame on you" one that surfaced the other day
in Ohio. Yikes. I heard that and was right back in 5th grade. :scared: As she was yelling, Shame on you, Barack Obama, I was hearing, 100 words, No Surrender.

15. health care
That's what the enablers wnat you to think. Mandated, multi-payer universal health care won't work . . . although it does seem to have worked quite well for decades in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. Even the Canadian and British systems now allow for some private insurance company health care administration. But what do they know? You see, as the great one has told us, we're different because we're Americans, and it's a choice thing, see? Choice = freedom. Mandated = lack of freedom. Just repeat it a few times; you'll get it just fine.

23. I think you should actually read the article. It comes from Physicians for a National Health Plan.
The point of the article is that mandated insurance doesn't work. What they argue for is Single Payer National Health Care.

You would do yourself a great favor to read more about the topic because it seems you are confusing mandated insurance with Single Payer Health Care. I don't blame you for your confusion, because that is what Hillary has sought to do all along.

26. single payer
I get it; Nixon = bad. Mandated multi-payer = bad. But what the article doesn't tell you is that the Canadian system was changed a few years ago to accomodate private insurance administration; all Canadians I know now have private insurance (generally provided by employers), and NHS in Britain has allowed for the same trend there. Did you know that over 70% of all medical spending in the US is currently administered by the government? That's the same percentage as in France and the Netherlands. Sure, we can be stubborn and say there's no sense in providing universal health care until we have the perfect single payer system that does not even exist in too many countries. Or, we can get everyone to the table, mandate health insurance, and kick out the insurance companies at a later date if they don't play ball. I know this approach is riskier, in that a candidate sticks his or her neck out in this country by proactively taking on the medical establishment.

10. She's at a high school in Laredo right now holding a town hall. Kiki says
she's going to talk about the issues tonight, and about the "choice question". (I guess that means a choice between whether we want Mom at the helm or that dangerous phenomenon who will inspire an attack on Day One.)

"Hillary is in the Solutions Business and has been for 35 years and that is what she will talk about tonight," per Kiki.
