Weeks ago I posted that...Farrakhan
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 12:06 PM by butterfly77
once Farrakhan,Jesse or sharpton endorsed Obama the panic would start, has it started yet? I heard a caller on Stephanie Miller this morning who sounded like she was hypervenilating. I heard this morning that Farrakhan has endorsed Obama does anyone know what he said?

6. This is petty, and btw, what's the problem with JJ, or AS? They
are both Dems. Are they too black? I don't even understand your reasoning.

7. It is not my reasoning..
I don't have a problem with either of them, I agree with them on a lot of issues. I love to listen to Obama's pastor on Sunday mornings it is not me who has the problem...

2. No panic. Obama disavowed Farrakhan's comments.
But I expect his opponents in both parties will try to exploit it.

4. he did not endorse.
At least by yesterday. What I heard was that he gave a speech praising Obama, but stopped short of an endorsement.

5. Yeah, I heard that caller too. Sounded like a total nut.
If that's the response to this (and, for what it's worth, Obama responded to the endorsement essentially by saying we didn't ask for it, he can endorse whoever he wants), I'm not worried at all.

9. Obama Praises Jeremiah Wright Praises Farrakhan Praises Obama Praises Jeremiah Wright Praises...
The Un~holy TRINITY.

I saw a story last night about the concerns the Jewish community has with Obama. Obama may try to distance himself from Farrakhan but his connection is via his Mentor and spiritual adviser, Jeremiah Wright the leader of the separatist church.

11. It doesn't matter to me...
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 02:10 PM by butterfly77
because I know that if Obama wins, Farrakhan will not effect his doing what is right for the country. The rightwing and some of their endorsers are the ones I worry about... I asked this question a few weeks ago because, I knew as time went on one of these three would endorse Obama and then the shit would hit the fan...

13. lol. there's no panic, dear- except from the hillies
Obama handled the Farrakhan endorsement neatly by rejecting it. And Jesse Jackson endorsed him months ago. Sharpton hasn't endorsed him but he probably will. Face it, Obama has dismantled hilly's big fat disasterous campaign. it's over.

15. Only time will tell...
usually all that it takes is to say the name Farrakhan and everyone falls all over themselves to tell the world how terrible he is...

16. time's aready told. Obama beat Hill
and Farrakhan endorsed yesterday morning. it doesn't seem to be a hot topic, does it. It's great to see the hillies so disappointed over it, though. I enjoy seeing the let down when Obama once again deftly avoids being smeared. too bad hill's so bad at effectively fighting back. good that she's not going to be our nominee.
