Philly being staffed. The primaries will go on...
Coming to head the Obama campaign will be political director Nicole Price and field specialist Jeremy Bird, both veterans of the Obama campaigns in South Carolina and Maryland.

Washington-based consultant Tom Lindenfeld, who managed the field efforts in former Mayor John Street's successful campaigns has relocated to Philadelphia for the duration.

The state director of the Clinton campaign is widely expected to be Tony Podesta, who has managed several statewide campaigns, including the successful 2004 effort for John Kerry in Pennsylvania (Podesta said in an interview last week he hasn't been offered a job yet).

Clinton communications will be handled by Mark Nevins, who worked on Street's 2003 campaign. Philadelphia-based operative Abe Dyk has been working for months, and will remain on board.

1. If she loses TX , she won't continue on
Bill Clinton said as much last week. The pressure on her to drop out will become enormous. Even more SDs will switch from her to Obama. She has big money problems. A loss in either TX or Ohio is unsustainable for Clinton.

2. I'm thinking Obama takes TX Clinton takes OH.
and Hillary goes on.

She's not leaving unless she gets whacked in both states.

4. If she goes on given your senario,
it will be a slow death spiral for her and the rest of us. It would be next to impossible for
her to catch up in delegates. Her donors would be leaving in droves. Her money crisis would increase.
And her negativity would choke the nation.

She would most likely have to quit before Pennsylvania. So she should get it over with next week
assuming of course that she loses either Texas or Ohio.

5. Its already very very difficult to catch up in delegates.
I think she's already in the spiral but she just fights harder.

She won't go down pretty.

6. Stop whooping yourself into a frenzy over this. If Obama can't win
enough delegates to take him to the top or over, then he plain old hasn't won.

8. Exactly...nobody wins until the convention because it takes superdelegates.
This whole kitchen sink deal and especially the muslim smear has convinced me she won't ever give up and she will take all of us down.

I hope I'm wrong.

9. Being a muslim is not a smear.
If neither gets to the magic number, why shouldn't Obama step down and save the party?

Same difference.

13. Because the nomination should go to whoever got the most votes
based on the people's voices.

Ha I knew there were Hillary supporters who agree with me that she's in it all the way no matter what.

3. Glad to hear it. Let the process play out. It's not a revolution, it's a primary.

10. Not great news for Hillary.
Being that I live in Philly I know that it has been lock, stock and barrel, without a doubt, in the bag for her up until just recently. The very fact that she needs to seriously staff up here shows how much danger this campaign is in. My own union, whom I knew was going to endorse Hillary because of my business manager's personal relationship with the Clintons is now tilting toward Barack. She really should have been able to win here without even stopping by to say "Hi." Chances are, she's still going to get it but she's really going to have to work for it now.
