The ugly american politics
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 07:04 PM by blues90
I have never seen anything quite like this last year of political squabble .

I don't care at all anylonger who the next president is .

It not only includes the massive cost to these campaigns but the tactics of all the candidates as well as all the supporters on all sides .

I wish people would really look at what they have become and what they promote as well as what they are willing to over look just for the big win .

I can't even see what these political uproars have to do with all the issues this country faces now or how we will ever be even close to a healed nation . All it shows me and proves to me is people in this country are blood thirsty and insane all in the attack mode and paying a high price to see the fights begin .

The candidates are blind to this while their campaign slogans fill the air , all they want is the big win and all are welcome to it because what they have done is taken a stance of not pride or the american way but instead of an armless war that spurs nothing but hate and rage . There is no inspiration here to see , it's a game of numbers and means absolutely nothing .

I don't want anyone of them to represent me and I will call none my president .

1. Squabble
Please. This last year of political squabble, as you put it, is nothing compared to what has gone on in campaigns through most of American history. I suggest you do some reading on the subject. Even Jefferson and Adams, who weresupposedly friends, demonized each other with a vindictive fury that makes today's politicians look like finishing-school girls.

2. How can you even compare today to then
It's an entirely different planet now . Voting and campaigns are entirely different , the had no way possible that even compares to how issues were presented or news was spread at this point in time .

I know the history it's about as close as comparing a caveman to the shuttle command control .

You want a comparison , give everyone a gun instead of a computer .

3. Obama has tried to change that, to stop the ugliness
the self destruction etc. The only way he can succeed and we can turn things around is to reward his efforts with votes.

4. Yeah right . He is just as bad as the rest of them
and do include his supporters , just as vile and hatefilled . There is not one bit of difference between any of them .

There is clearly two sides here and everywhere else one chooses to look . This is how americans look , not only as the worlds terrorists but the worlds fools and now the worlds freaks .

5. If you think he is as bad
Than I don't know what to say to you. It doesn't appear that you took an balanced and unbiased look at the behavior of all three.

6.  Balanced and Unbiased ?
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 07:43 PM by blues90
Quite frankly , I'm surprised these two words are still in spell checks latest addition .

As far I can tell these two words have completely lost their meaning . Tell me one single thing that's one or the other . And behavior , that's the entire problem with all of them and their supporters .

There is a much deeper thing going on here that not many seem to even see . It's an entire mentality gone straight to hell .
