Some hopeful news from DeLay land
The numbers for early voting here in Fort Bend County are, given our history, jaw-dropping. OK, OK, it could be the fact that we have open primaries, but I can't believe *all* the Dem numbers are due to crossovers (that don't also intend to vote Democratic in the general election)....?

Here's a link to the PDF:
http://www.co.fort-bend.tx.us/upload/images/elections_administration/evpa.PDF

Since it appears to be updated daily at the same URL (and hopefully the numbers will just get better!), I'll copy today's numbers for you below. Does my heart good just to look at them!

1. Well, all my careful formatting went for naught, but if you'll keep in mind as you read the numbers
that is goes D,R ; D,R ; D,R , etc., I think you'll get the picture.

(The computer turned all my multiple spaces into single when I posted, and tabs don't work.)

In all but a few (small) places, the numbers are HUGH!!111! :woohoo:

7. Yeah, I shoulda done that
I was late for something else when I posted this - my husband had to drag me off the computer.

I can't break myself of the habit of expecting the computer to recognize the spaces I put in. I need to at least keep non-breaking space at the top of my mind if I'm gonna try to do stuff like this.

Oh, well, you get the picture.... ;)

Just got this in an email - Harris County is kicking our butt! We don't need your stinkin' two-to-one - we got *three*-to-one. (Hey, but two-to-one is still pretty good for DeLay land!)

In Harris County today.

1st Day Early Voting Comparison by Party
Year REP DEM
2004 678 849
2008 2,914 9,233

6. To my neighbors to the southwest -- way to go! (from Harris Co.)
We've already surpassed the early vote totals of both parties for all of 2004.
