What will you be saying after tonight's debate?
As we all know, Hillary could use a knockout but it is not likely it will happen? If she attacks or goes negative, it will probably backfire on her. She needs to come armed with facts that compare their voting records. Obama just needs to continue doing what he has been doing. He can argue policy issues with the best of them.

If Hillary argues that she would be the best "Commander in Chief", that will not get her any extra votes. Many of the new voters are turned off by everything about the occupation in Iraq. If she continues to say that she will be ready on "day one", that will only remind people that she has been there before and that is not something that they will see as a positive. If you have been there before, then you are part of the problem - not part of the solution. If she says that we can return to the good ol' days of the 1990's, people will not buy into that argument either. They want no part of the good ol' days. They want to move forward. What can she do?

8. I think three things are possible.
1. A really boring debate. Changes nothing.

2. A repeat of SC debate, only quicken's the inevitable.

3. Somebody commits a major gaffe, has an impact on the election.

I think only #1 is likely.

10. i think we will all be in shock. Hillary is going to drop the sinclair bomb
I signed up after not having been here for a couple years because I have it from someone who should know that Hillary is going to be asked about the mccain scandal in the debate and sympathize with him and say she has been hit with unsubstantiated charges and she also knows Obama sympathizes because there is a man out there making horrible unsubstantiated charges about him right now. Forcing the media to explain it. the person that told me this is a huge Hillary supporter and she was very excited about this. said "this will bury Obama while making Hillary look like a saint for feeling his pain. and she was really laughing. Who knows, maybe my source has lost her mind but she is a big mukety muck in local politics and has proven right before. I'll be watching.

11. "Dynamics of the race haven't changed"
The pundits will be saying this:

"Hillary needed a knock out punch... and while she landed some blows, she didn't change the (say it with me) dynamics of this race."

14. We will have a whole new round of....
My candidate is better than your candidate here on DU. How incredibly boring. I am to the point where I can not stand either of our candidates. I am sick of the divide it has caused here on DU and around the country. I am sick of Obama claiming how wonderful he is and how he is going to save our country. I am sick of Clinton saying the same old "day one" crap. Frankly, I am not sure I give a crap about either of them. If the reactions of their respective fans is any indication, neither of them will be worth a crap in Washington and we will be disappointed. How can either candidate do anything for us when they are this divisive in the primary season??? Judging by the numbers coming out of these primaries, we are practically split down the middle. Neither candidate will achieve the votes necessary to lock in the nomination and things will just get worse.
