Republicans HATE the NYT - They rallied the base for him.
Coming home from Work I was listening to America Left on XM. During a commercial I pop over to America Right to see what they are talking about.

Seems Mark Levin is on the air. This man can't stand McCain. As soon as the NYT story broke - Levin rallied right behind McCain.

In the eyes of the republicans the story was held until they were sure McCain had the nomination. They just rallied the base for them.

Nice Job idiots.

2. Drudge had it for months
The nYT tried to drop it prior to the NH primaries. Facts never get in the way of RW spin.
