and...keep in mind, I'm not voting for McCain (DUH!)...

McCain wasn't voting to veto the torture bill...he gave a complete discussion on this topic where he continued to stand behind banning torture, rejected waterboarding, criticized the bush admin and called for us to enforce international laws. What he objected was the attempt to turn the CIA under the control of the military manual...which is an issue that they slid in there intentionally. That was the reason for his no vote.

Not defending him...just clarifying.
