Dems are coming out in droves.

So, very, very simple. Keep the hope and energy high, DRIVE HOME THE POINT....eneregy, optimism, and hope - or McMoreofthesame.

Now if we can only avoid completely devouring our own over the next few months, this should be a slam dunk, no matter if it is Obama or Hillary.

2. Yep. Hours of clips of McCain and Bush hugging, eating
birthday cake while NOLA was dying, laughing and cutting up while soldiers are dying, and McCain saying "100 years of war". Slam dunk.

3. I personally feel that allot of Republicans (if they vote at all) will be voting...
Democratic in November... Just my take on it... We must remember one thing, we are all Americans first with party affiliations after that. I don't see anyway in hell that the mass majority of Americans are going to vote for "More war McCain"... Call me crazy, but thats how I see it.

4. responsible
Well, the Obama camp has made the Clintons responsible for the Bush years; I never would have thought that possible.

5. Bill's damage to the party allowed W to beat Gore, it is "the Clintons" fault
and Hillary seems to want to follow in Bill's footprints

6. It's worse than that, I'm afraid.
Bush was never a soldier/POW. I wouldn't underestimate that "little" factor...

7. Who is the last "war hero" we elected, anyway?
I would argue it was none other than JFK.

8. War changes people.
One could go many different directions. Your worldview and perspective on life changes. My husband came home from Iraq a die-hard liberal/Democrat, whereas some of his friends became even more Republican/authoritarian when they came home. They're aggressive, anxious, and take the littlest things as a threat or a challenge. Bush doesn't even have that background and yet he is still that way!
