John McCain needs a new campaign song.

McCain was using John Mellencamp's "Our Country," the liberal democrat, for some reason, took issue with the unauthorized use and wrote a letter "Are you sure you want to use his music to promote Senator McCain's efforts?...Logic says that the facts might prove to be an embarrassment, were they to be circulated widely." So that song's out.

And I'm going to guess that the Beach Boys aren't interested.

So what's left that could fit? I was wondering until I caught his press conference last night. It seems to me Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" would be suitable.
