Chris Matthews is handing Clinton a present with a huge bow on it
He's humiliating State Senator Kirk Watson by pressing him to name Obama's accomplishments in the Senate, and he's the Senator is floundering.

Of course, awfully safe for Matthews to be going hard on Obama's supporters at this point.

That Watson guy sure came off like a fool though. There's plenty of stuff Obama has done, it's Watson's fault for not knowing it and it was a mistake to have him on TV as a campaign spokesperson.

That guy could've been better prepared, but Tweety did that for his own smarmy ass, not to help Clinton or the discourse. C'mon, this isn't our first go-around with Tweety. Dude shoulda seen that "gotcha" coming.

couldn't. After being momentarily speechless, Chris said something about playing hardball. KO responded with, but this isn't Hardball. It's election coverage.

18. It HAS to be answered, y'all get it right?
Tweety, as obnoxious as he is - is signalling the next attack by Hillary.

Get ready for it - if Obama can't answer this, if supporters can't answer it,
then it hurts the campaign!

It will reinforce the HIllary argument.

Instead of being angry that this was raised, be angry that it wasn't anticipated.

Look for every attack, every trick, every thing the kitchen sink included.

Proper Preparation Prevents Problems!

22. The answer is easy... note to Obama's Rapid Response & Prep Shop
Here's how you answer that question:

"It is going to take this historic election to achieve the changes Senator Obama has worked for all of his life, because of the gridlock that has paralyzed, and honestly, disheartened this nation, ever since the impeachment of President Clinton taught conservatives that attack politics work and that the politics of hope are moot."

45. Here is the answer for free:
Fine Chris I will give you 3 legislative successes for every single one that you can name for Senator John Kennedy before he became one of our greatest presidents. Or for the other side of the isle Nixon. Legislative accomplishments are collegial in nature and you can't really tell who is moving what unless you are on the inside. Getting your name on a bill can mean something or nothing.

Also the difference between legislative and executive leadership is completely different and the guy who may be great at moving the sheep - like Johnson can fuck up the presidency. The answer is its not relevent.

29. I'm sure they'll run that ad nauseum on "Morning Joe" tomorrow
The only purpose, of course, was for Tweety to amuse and satisfy himself. It was kind of an ambush on what should be a glorious night for Obama.

Still, I doubt it'll happen again. Don't send surrogates out without talking points. The answer to Chris' question was really quite simple, I think.

51. Here's a video of the exchange:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU08cYX-7y4&eurl=http://www.taylormarsh.com/

As someone suggested on another site, Tweety may have been going after this Obama surrogate because he figures that Hillary's campaign is finished and it's now safe to start destroying Obama's campaign in preparation for the general election. The same man who had a tingle going up his leg the other night is now singing a different tune, and saying "that's a problem, isn't it?" in response to the surrogate being unable to list Obama's accomplishments in the Senate. The knives are out and y'all are getting a taste of what's to come. You can't say we didn't warn you!
