I'm feeling pretty bummed, and angry, right now ...
1) Kerry's vacationing while the Bushies tear him to shreds (I hope he knows what he's doing, but this makes very uneasy).
2) Polls seem to show Bush making a bit of a comeback.
3) This is what really pissed me off: New Quinnipiac poll for Pennsylvania, where I live, shows Kerry beating Bush by 1 percent, 45 to 44 percent (similar to other polls) but losing by 4, 44-40, when Nader is added (he gets 7 percent!!!) AAAARRRGGGGG!

Can anyone cheer me up? :(

2. Books coming out soon - Joe Wilson's end of April.
Bill Clinton's in June and Kitty Kelly's in September.

Also...the Hunting of the President documentary will be out in September.

All of these should have attending publicity and make some big news that will be bad for BushInc.

4. It's a long campaign
and Kerry and the Dems will do everything they can...and we have to as well.
As far as Nader is concerned, I wrote in an earlier post
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x466264#466271 that I did some reading and Pennsylvania is one of the hardest ballots for an independent to get on.

8. The bad news will be about Bush
We have only begun to see his lies revealed. He is going to have the summer from hell.

Then in the fall, he will find out his "separation date" -- mid-January.

And we will be partying. I will cry tears of joy unlike the tears of despair I shed at the last presidential election.

Visualize W GOING HOME and SMILE.

11. It's still way early to rely on polls. Besides it's better for Kerry not
Edited on Wed Mar-17-04 02:30 PM by KoKo01
to peak too early. Remember the public get's "bored" if one candidate get's too far ahead. So, we will probably see polls swing back and forth for awhile.

It's not bad news at this point...so perk up. Lots of work needs to be done. No one ever said it would be easy going up against the Chimp and a half asleep American public.

13. Don't let polls bother you!
Back in July of 1992, 4 monts before the election, Ross Perot was beating Clinton and Bush in the polls. Should this cheer you up a little? :-)
