Hillary continues her "we need more than words" strategy in Ohio
She is continuing with this line of attack. As will McCain. It will not work for either, and I'm surprised they haven't caught on yet. The whole premise of it is silly and insulting to our intelligence. On the campaign trail, all you have are words.

1. And plagiarizes his "This campaign isn't about me, it's about you. It's your campaign" line.

7. What is the definition of insanity?
Not saying she is insane, just that she may need a change in her campaign message.

14. no she isnt
all she's done is talk too.

She's been a senator for less than 10 years, and has held no other public office. None.

What has SHE done to claim this experience tag?

Not much more than Obama.

So this whole substance angle doesn't work. Perhaps if she was coming off her third or fourth term as senator, but not when she only has what two years of seniority on Obama.

NEITHER of them have much in the way of experience.

16. She's had a little more than one-half term in the Senate. And she's faced the repuke attack machine
She endured it for years.

She's still standing.

Obama?

When?

13. It is getting really old
Words is all ANY politician has, whether we are talking about Clinton, Bush, or Castro. What is Obama supposed to do? Pack a street-sweeper and mow down anybody who doesn't agree with him?

Of course not. We WANT our leaders to use words. Words represent ideas.

And it comes down to what ideas are the best ones going forward?

The Clinton "triangulation" philosophy is utterly devoid of ideas. It is the strategy of finding a position right in the middle of ideas, not taking a pricipled position on anything. That's what got us NAFTA. That's what got us the great welfare walkaway. And that's what got us CLinton's position on the IWR.

All of those things are just words when you get down to it.

The wrong words.

15. "Words....
why, you can see five thousand years back in a light of words. Everything we think, do,share and say are in words, so not a soul is in darkness - or done with, even in the grave. And I know, I KNOW - one WORD and I can put the world in your hand."

---William Gibson, "The Miracle Worker"
