"Imus in the Morning" Is Supporting John Kerry!!!!!
I heard him say that on his radio show this morning.

Later on, Tim Russert from "Meet The Press" was a phone-in guest, and they were talking about debates. Russert said that he thought a good debate format would be one where they focused on one subject (such as outsourcing jobs to other countries) for an hour, and "each candidate can tell us everything he knows".

To which Imus replied, "Bush won't need an hour. For that or any other subject!"

:-)

24. Total bs
Imus was on this morning asking Ford how he could continue to support Kerry (that he was having a hard time continuing his support). Yesterday he made some kind of joke about Kerry having a hard time skiing because he was trying to ski down both sides of the mountain.

He says little things about Bush but continues to support him on the major issues.

The whole "I support John Kerry" appears to be nothing but a scam. Imus goes on record supporting Kerry and then "gasp" has to withdraw his support because Kerry is so terrible (Bush has his faults but he's better than Kerry). When he initially voiced his support for Kerry one of his staff asked how he could support Kerry (he snickered and said I support Kerry for now).

6. Imus is like a leaf in the wind
...over the last few months he's been pro-Bush, then pro-Kerry, then maybe not Kerry (because he said that he wanted to "go with the winner"), but he never went completely back to pro-Bush, now he's pro-Kerry again.

Prior to the caucuses, Imus was emphatic in stating that he didn't care who the Democratic nominee was...he was going to vote for Bush.

20. I think you have to look at it through a New Yorker's eyes
Imus lives & works in New York. 9/11 had such an impact on people, that a lot of people who had never supported Bush, backed him after the attack.

Many people rallied because of what happened to our country, however gradually, they became disillusioned, & then downright hostile to Bush.

If you look at national polls, Bush was at 50% on 9/10, then soared in the polls, & has been coming down ever since. And I think in New York, it was more pronounced.

8. I Know He Supported Clinton in '92
That was when I lived in NJ and listened to Imus every day on WFAN. I remember one day he had Clinton on the show and asked him if he could call him "Bubba". Clinton laughed and said, "Of course you can."

19. Imus was a fervent McCainiac!
He was SUPER pissed when he lost the nomination to Bush.

I don't remember who he voted for in the GE; I remember he didn't like Gore or Bush. He may have written in McCain.

As a matter of fact, McCain went to Imus's ranch to visit him & the sick kids in New Mexico. This was after the primary, & McCain told him in confidence that he despised Bush.

Well, Imus went on the radio a day ot two later, & told the whole story. It was pretty funny.

5. Kerry's idea, yes??
To have one subject one hour debates, right?? Maybe Timmy should be pushing this idea to his GOP guests and see what happens???

22. I think 1 topic debates would be terrific
for Kerry, but you need more than an hour!

I'd like to see 1 on jobs & the economy, & 1 on national security/terrorism/Iraq.

Then you need a few more for other subjects, but there is only a plan for 3 debates.

11. Although I despise him
It's better to have him as a friend than an enemy.

Why this yahoo has such influence on politics, I'll never know. At least I know what Rush's agenda is. Imus is all about Imus, and who the fuck knows or cares what he really thinks.

12. Don't get too stoked
Imanass in the morning talks out of both sides of his ass.
He'll probably "get angry" with something Kerry does in the coming weeks and then he'll devote all his time to running him down.
I think he's just faking objectivity... so that his campaigning for in 2000 will be forgotten. If he goes out of the gate kissing bush's butt in this election cycle ...it's just more of the same.
In other words this is a big act IMO

13. Kerry needs to go on Imus more
That is a easy way for him to refute Bush's lies and not have any real tough questions asked.

Also, we have Stern on our side now too.

:bounce:

The Working Class pays more attention to Stern than to Wolfie "Whore", Timmyboy "Whore", and O'Whorley "Whore"!
