how kerry SHOULD HAVE responded....
well, after the whole Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame incident, in which a woman was risking her life for her country, I think it should be obvious to anyone that this administration is petty and vindictive.

I wouldn't want to "out" any foreign leaders, because in the event I don't win.... This administration will "hang them out to dry".... just as they did the wilson/plame family.

nough said!

1. Kerry should ask if the rumors about the Bin Laden famliy being flown out
Edited on Wed Mar-17-04 09:47 AM by R Hickey
Kerry must ask bush this:

"There is a rumor, Sir, (Bush/Chehey/Powell) that you are in a secret conspiracy with the Bin Ladin family."

"The rumor is that, in the days following 9/11, that President Bush helped Bin Laden family members to escape US Justice by fleeing on secret charter jets, OK'd by President Bush himself."

"What secret arrangement does President Bush have with this rich Saudi terrorist family, and how was he repaid for his post 9/11 favor?"

2. Interesting you should say this
I agree. I hope Kerry does say this.
Others have been saying this already. The more the merrier!
From Boston Globe, yesterday
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/president/kerry/articles/2004/03/16/kerry_pledges_to_be_veterans_veteran_as_bush_criticizes_his_support_of_iraq_troops/

Howard Dean, Kerry's former rival, said he agreed with Kerry's decision not to name the leaders and that it was "silly" for the Bush administration to suggest he reveal them, "given the proclivity of this administration to threaten those both home and abroad who are candid."

"If I were Senator Kerry I wouldn't name those names because this administration would clearly make their lives difficult," said Dean, a former governor of Vermont.

3. When Bush says

that Kerry should reveal the names or not speak about such things, Kerry should agree with him.

"Quite correct, George, I should never have mentioned my international support. But having made that one error, I refuse to complicate it by making a second. Truths spoken to me is confidence should remain in confidence, regardless of how it effects me personally."

"Speaking of confidential information, I would like to express my regrets to Valerie Plame regarding the inexcusable release of the confidential information concerning her work with the CIA, and to reassure the members of the United States Intelligence agencies that In a Kerry administration, your confidence will never be abused."
