Is this guy the real deal or what.
There are good politicians, good people and good leaders. In general if you get two out of three you are doing well, and three out of three is pretty damn rare. We are very lucky to have chosen Kerry who happens to be all three.

1. Of course, your mileage may differ...
There are some of us who don't agree, but I don't think he's a bad person...

In fact the more I dig into his story, the more I like him.

I know the Iraq war vote is held against him alot, but at least in my experiance, I can understand it.

While I changed my mind early on once it became clear that this adminitration was molding intelligence in support of its policy initiativces, at least in the beggining I supported him.

I am sorry now, but after 9/11 I really did want to see those responsible, and those supporting them, pay.

And I still support going after those that hit us. And I won't appoligize for that either.

Still what I do hold Bush accountable for is the deception. The willful disregard for the true work needed to be done to make this country as safe as possible, in favor of his pet war in Iraq.

In short, I can forgive Kerry for voting for it. Like he said, no one thought he would fuck it up this bad.

I believe even Howard Dean said the President deserves the benifit of the doubt, at least at the time of the first Iraq bill. Cannot remember the name.

Bush and his crew lied, and those decisions were based on that.

Anyway we could have done far worse than Kerry as our nominee.

I am behind him 100%

3. I also agree..
I think, in retrospect, that he really is the best candidate to beat Bush. I was initially a Dean supporter but I think we could have had real problems. Face it, BUSH MUST GO. I am liking Kerry more and more (especially since he didn't back down from the comments he made about what liars they truly are). I think he's smart, he's a fighter, and he knows what's at stake. KERRY ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. I was just watching him on C-SPAN and feeling really good.
I haven't felt this optimistic about the future of the U.S. since the 2000 selection.

6. I hate to dump on a newbie, but
with the Illinois primary, Kerry has a lock on the nomination.
