What are Clinton's major legislative accomplishments?
This isn't a knock, just a question for Clinton supporters, since I am too lazy to do the research myself right now, and I figured some of you would have this info handy.

I used to read the Congressional Record a lot, and I don't remember Clinton taking the lead on a lot of bills, though her voting record was overall very good, with a few notable exceptions.

Obama has only been in the Senate for a few years, but already has two major bills to his name that became law (Coburn-Obama ethics reform, and nuclear nonproliferation bill).

I am sure Senator Clinton has a much longer list of legislative accomplishments, but none are coming to mind, so I am hoping you can help me out on this.

1. She's known far and wide for...
Kyl/Lieberman.

I guess that was kind of an accomplishment. I mean, to give a failed war-President more
fodder for his neocon wet dreams---was quite noteworthy.

Think about that. First you vote for the Iraq war--knowing that it was a lie, because the
neocons who launched the 2000 Iraq war were the same neocons who begged your husband for
war with Iraq in 1998. So..she knew the 2000 neocons were attempting to launch, what
didn't get off the pad--in 1998.

But she voted for Iraq anyway, knowing it was a lie that would result in the untold deaths of
innocent American and Iraqis.

Then, she won't apologize for that Iraq-war vote (even though she knew it was a lie), but
goes on to say that she TRUSTED the President who said the vote wasn't for war (even though
the vote was titled, "Joint Resolution of Congress authorizing military force in Iraq.").

Relying on Hillary's supposition that the President lied and misled her---what does she do
when he attempts to rattle the Iran sabers? She votes to declare an arm of the Iran government
as "a terrorist organization" which helps Bush with his propaganda war, as he builds his lie-based
case for war with Iran.

I think her Iraq vote and her Kyl/Lieberman vote are legislative actions of Clintons that should
be given more air time.

2. Expect to hear crickets chirping...
I have seen this question posted numerous times, and never a legitimate answer from the Clinton camp. I went to the Senate website to look for myself and found nothing of substance in the list of bills she has sponsored. I too would like someone to enlighten me on what I must have missed somehow.

3. Got buried before I got any answers from HRC supporters
Probably posted too late at night. This isn't a knock...I honestly want an answer. I am sure she has accomplished things as a senator, I just couldn't think of them off the top of my head.

Now go write "Ready from day one" and "35 years of making change" on the chalkboard 50 times each. :spank:

8. stole this from another thread
See http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=300022

Clinton is a radical Democrat according to GovTrack's own analysis of bill sponsorship.

Obama is a regular rank-and-file Democrat according to GovTrack's own analysis of bill sponsorship.
