Have You Voted Yet?
I was wondering, how many of you have already voted in their primary/caucus?

I'm just curious because I notice a lot of ugly, sniveling propaganda, and in general, garbage on this site. I'm assuming that the reason why people post this crap is because they want to influence people's votes.

I really can't tell you people how much some of these posts really turn me off of the candidate they are supposedly trying to support.

I feel some on this board might be bitter because they've already had their vote, they've already had their say, and they are jealous of those of us who actually get to make the difference and really decide this thing.

1. A serious question...
...I've noticed that you have Hillary in your DU name but you're now supporting Obama. How exactly did that happen?

9. Lol, I get asked this almost every day now!, I switched about a week or two ago,
I think I might ask skinner if I can change my name, someone else said he let people do it before after the last primaries!

I still like both, I'd be fine with Hillary, but I really think Obama is what we need!

Here's my history: I was originally for Gore, I signed the petition on Draft Gore well about a year ago! And then, this summer I was supporting Kucinich, but then he was out, and then I was supporting Clinton for awhile, but that was I really payed any attention to Obama. I think there was short period of time I was rooting for Edwards too! This was before I really saw any of Obama's speeches and that was before I really compared their policies on their website. Also, Bill Clinton's behavior in South Carolina, and some of the Clinton surrogates, like that guy that started BET, was hard for me to stomach. And, the Kennedy endorsement really impressed me. I have a lot of respect for him and his stamp of approval was more than enough for me!

7. Early voting starts tomorrow here in Texas
I don't know if I can get to it tomorrow, but I do plan on voting early AND I plan on going back March 4th to caucus.

And no, my vote is not open to influence. I have made my decision.

was open to influence, I don't believe in proselytizing!

By the way, how do I go vote early, just go?

8. I have not
And if this bs continues, and Barack does not win, I might have to reexamine my oft-mentioned affirmance that I would certainly vote for her.

Run on your positives, dammit. You have good points (I don't agree with all of them, but many do). You are 60 years old -- grow the fuck up.

13. nope.... when it comes to PA on April 22, I'll decide....
I like them both. The unending puke and bile posted in this forum does tell me a little about the nature of the people supporting one side or the other -- and I guess that has a little influence on me. But I'm just watching and evaluating the candidates themselves and will base my decision almost entirely on that alone.

20. I voted in the Florida primary.
I was aware that my vote might not count for the Democratic presidential candidate as did a lot of other people in this state.

However, there was another issue on the ballot which most voters felt was very important.
http://ezinearticles.com/?Florida-Voters-Approve-Save-Our-Homes-Property-Tax-Law-and-Vote-Yes-On-Amendment-1-Homestead-Exemption&id=961606

I feel that since many voters felt that their choice for a presidential candidate would be ignored, the primary election here and in Michigan might not have been a true reflection of the will of the people in these two states.

If it proves that the votes from the two states might actually decide the election of a presidential candidate, the only fair way to handle the situation would be to redo the primary.
