Overt Lying Image in Latest Bush TV Ad.
Have you seen the latest bush ad, the one narrated by the shrub himself wherein he talks about "going back to failed policies?"

The ad contains an image of a uniformed soldier (presumably another actor) walking past and visually inspecting a pile of cargo containers. Yet this is an issue that the Dems have been slamming the repigs on, ie: they won't provide the $ to inspect more than the 5% of cargo containers now entering US ports.

This image is such an obvious piece of disinformation. It's meant to 1) give the image that bush IS inspecting cargo containers and 2) steal the Dems thunder on the issue. The next time a Dem brings up this security issue, the average stupid American will think, "that's not true...I remember seeing video of our soldiers inspecting those containers. I think it was on the news..."

Typical bush faux security - spend a few thou on a feel-good ad while ignoring the real problem and under-funding the solution into ineffectiveness.

They have no morals...and no class, for that matter.

2. 2 days ago on network news
there was a story about cargo container inspections coming to a halt in the Puget Sound because funding is being phased out.

Sen. Patty Murray, the one that freepers love to bash, is trying get funding re-instated.

Bush couldn't speak the truth if it jumped up and gave hime a hickey.

5. Uniformed soldiers in ads - that's a no-no
They should add a disclaimer that no actual service personnel were filmed. Should I be holding my breath ?
