New Poll Reveals a Very Close Race Now in Texas Between Clinton & Obama.
A new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll suggests the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination between Sens. Hillary Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois is a statistical dead heat in Texas, which holds primaries March 4.

In the survey, out Monday, 50 percent of likely Democratic primary voters support Clinton as their choice for the party's nominee, with 48 percent backing Obama.

But taking into account the poll's sampling error of plus or minus 4½ percentage points for Democratic respondents, the race is a virtual tie.

Two recent polls by other organizations also show the race statistically even.

6. Perfect example of why Florida's bogus election should not count
We'll have to wait to see how it turns out on election day, but if indeed Obama has closed the gap so significantly, then it serves as a great example of how the election in Florida would have almost assuredly been different had Obama had a chance to really campaign there in a significant way. (Yes, I know he apparently had a press conference once, and a couple of national TV spots made it into Florida - but if you think that's the extent of an actual campaign, you're lying to yourself).

Edited to add..

Uh, just so you don't accuse me of plagerism, I suppose I should point out that the words in the subject are from an old Democratic victory song.

Don't know who wrote it. Sorry.

(I'm I safe?)
