Loss in the Kucinich Campaign
For those Kucinich supporters in California and nearby States-

Northern California Technical Team member Mike Pring was killed in a highway accident on his way home from closing the Corte Madera campaign office.

Dennis said today, "Mike was one of the earliest supporters of our campaign. He helped organize and had a way which drew people in by the strength of his enthusiasm. His talents went from the organizational to the technical to the theatrical. His colorful rendition of Uncle Sam never failed to bring smiles to all. He represented, of course, a more gentle side of Uncle Sam, which made him all the more endearing, and which makes our loss all the more painful. We shall miss him greatly - our hearts go out to his wife Pamela Bright, his son Collin Pring, and his daughter Marlee Pring."

DUers who knew Mike or who just want to can contribute condolences, memories and wishes for his family by emailing to formike@kucinich.us

Messages sent to that address will be posted on Mike's Memorial Page and later printed out and given to his family. If you want your message delivered without publishing on the memorial page, Please make statement to that affect at the top of your message otherwise it will be posted to the Memorial page.

7. Any loss is hard, but this is tragic
I'm so sorry to hear of this. What a hard time for his family, and those who have worked with him.

What a hard time for Dennis, who must keep campaigning, when I'm sure he'd like to take some time to grieve.

I'll pass this along, and add to the memorials.

Thanks for keeping us informed..

Kanary

10. I think I remember him at SF marches last year
I think I took some photos of him at one of the pre-war rallies in SF last February. I remember the Uncle Sam outfit. I'll look and see if I can find the photo(s).

My condolences to he and all his loved ones and those who were part of his life. Such a tragedy...

12. You were one of the people I was thinking of, Will.
Wasn't sure if you'd ever met or worked with him, but figured there are people here who don't always check in to the campaign site or volunteer board.

He touched a lot of people, including Dennis.
