Our entire primary has virtually ignored issues
Its been about bullshit horse race stuff and it has been about personalities. And it sucks. We now find ourselves down to two choices, each of whom is playing on personal strengths and weaknesses - PERSONALITY - and largely ignoring issues. The last two who talked about issues dropped out a few weeks back. But these two ...... only their fanatical supporters see them as different from the other one. To me - and I bet to millions of others - they're both pretty much the same old crap and they both should be ashamed of themselves for doing little but blow smoke up the asses of potential voters.

Yeah ..... sure ...... cite this speech or that web site link.

Bullshit.

Who is talking abut REAL change?

Who is addressing HEALTH CARE in a way that favors people and not institutions or corporate interests? (as but one example)

Who is addressing fundamental change?

Who is REALLY challenging the status quo?

I don't see one bit of substantive difference between our candidates.

Yeah, I'll absolutely vote for the nominee. I will probably even work for the nominee.

But they really do suck.

1. Their policies are awfully similar.
These will probably come out more in the General because there will be a real contrast to Repub plans.

3. You're right ....... either one of them will McCain look like the hateful old man he is
The Repubs really aren't even trying this time ....... Huckleberry and McCain? A religious nut and angry nut? They're meaningless. And easy to beat.

Maverick, my ass.

2. That's because there are few differences
Really, compare their stances on most anything and Obama, Hillary and Edwards don't look very different. Oh, I know that a bunch of you policy wonks out there will make a great deal about the fact that Obama's health care plan doesn't have mandates and the others do, but really, that sort of difference is chicken feed in the big picture. Compared to Republicans, all three of the major Democratic candidates stood pretty much the same on the issues.

The big exception, in my opinion, is the Iraq war, and there has been a great deal of discussion about that.

6. You take that back. Coke is far better than that over-sweet sludge they call Pepsi.

10. Yeah ...... but that doesn't stop the candidatimaniacs
I've seen less passion in the crowd at the horse track after betting on a 200 to 1 shot.
