Is it time for a woman to lead? Yes. Is it time for a black person to lead? Yes.
Both are historical, and both have a great chance of happening. Let's not minimize one or the other- a woman in the WH is not a bigger accomplishment than a black person winning the presidency or vice-versa.

Let's rejoice, because either way we will see something great happening in November.

African-Americans, of both genders, are probably the most oppressed group in the history of this nation.

Not to minimize the terrible terrible things done to black folks over the centuries, but I'm still amazed how invisible my people are to the average American.
