Some people keep saying the Electoral Map doesn't favor Obama...
...but how many more polls are we going to have to see with Obama beating McCain by a larger percentage than Hillary (if she beats him at all) before they realize that the Map favors her even LESS, no matter how you slice it?

I'm glad he's winning at this point.

1. And Let's Not Forget That McCain Isn't Drawing Republicans
to the polls like our candidates have been. I think Obama will be a shoe in.

4. And after you subtract the spoilers, how many will flip to McCain after months of GOP attack ads? nt

3. I don't like Clinton OR Obama.....but Obama definitely has a better chance of beating McCain.
At least we have the advantage of knowing against whom we're running...unless the old coot dies before the general.

11. mccain has already started his attack on obama
i read it earlier tonight at salon....mccain is going to be a formidable opponent
democrats may have the advantage of knowing who they're running against...but mccain is
going to make the case that repubs don't know who they're running against due to his lack of experience and voting record.

16. That will resonate with some voters...but
McCain is kinda loopy himself. He's a decidedly amateur speaker.

There are a ton of sound bites we can kill him with.

The only thing worse than an inexperienced candidate is an incompetent experienced candidate...

6. Some people are grasping
at straws at this point..and it's pathetic 'cause I wouldn't count hilary out but to come up with disingenous crap about the electoral map doesn't show much faith in their candidate.

7. You can't draw that conclusion with national polls - you don't know how the samples break down
for each state.

8. The old maps aren't adequate to the situation.
We're turning out two voters to their one. We have a strong candidate, they have a weak one. We're campaigning to end the war, they're campaigning to start new ones. Democratic registration is at a record high, Republican registration a record low.

The old maps are woefully unprepared for the ass-kicking that's about to commence.
