A thread citing David Corn says that Edwards needs to endorse Obama to prove he is no phony.

However, as an Edwards Democrat, this endorsement process is Obama and Clinton's chance to prove to Edwards that THEY are no phony. That is why Edwards wants private meetings with each of them without the press.

1. I dunno... at this point, will an Edwards endorsement mean that much at all?
Supre Tuesday is done and gone, the Potomac was a gimmee to Obama, Clinton will win next - is there a close call left that'll swing on Edwards?

2. Who knows? A boost is good for either campaign though.

4. Kerry's endorsement already proved Obama is the real deal, and
Edwards' would be a good thing too!

6. Actually that is a bit delusional.Kerry's endorsement proved nothing and couldn't deliver Mass for O
And I like Kerry! Edwards endoresement will not effect my stance at all either. Some of us make our own decisions. I support John Edwards and John Kerry but they make their decisions and I make mine.I will never vote for Barack Obama in the GE even if the all high came down and told me so.
