1. I think he'll endorse Hillary.
Her policies most closely match his own.

10. "Her policies most closely match his own." What nonsense
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 12:46 AM by ProSense
The Edwards aide added that Obama's lack of a health care plan with a "mandate" is a "tough hurdle for him to get over." He added, however, that Edwards is much more in line with Obama on other issues.

Edwards wasn't even running the same type of campaign as Hillary's.

2. I doubt he'll endorse before the convention
unless either Clinton or Obama drop out before then.

4. Obama. Because endorsing Hillary would make him a massive hypocrite.
Edwards railed against Clinton for months during the early primaries, rightfully pointing out that she was a corporate shill and DINO/DLC faux democrat. If he endorses her tomorrow it will be a complete 180 degrees from what he's been preaching against for the past year...and I will lose all respect for him.

11. In the last debates he was in he spent more time calling Obama on his crap than Hillary.
Their Immigration, Iraq, and Health Care plans are essentially the same.

15. Keep on smoking the kind my friend...misty dreams of Clintonite grandeur and delusion.
From day one Edwards was evicerating Clinton. Also, it helps my case that Edward's wife has intimated that she supports Obama.

7. I honestly could not care less.
And I don't think it matters. People with a lot more political currency than JE have already endorsed both of the candidates, and it doesn't seem to matter much. I don't see why his opinion would. Especially when it has been so coy. We've already seen him try to glom on to the coattails of Obama (in NH) and then Clinton (in NV). I think he should sit this one out.

8. He may assess their chances at the nomination and then ask each what
kind of America they will lead as regards wage-earners, the health of unions, significant and meaningful health care reform, and initiatives regarding bolstering the homeless generally and homeless veterans especially.

I think he'll listen very carefully, then decide.

12. i bet he endorses hillary but he should endorse obama
just from my perspective, obviously
i have thought edwards will view hillary as the winner and want a place somewhere within the admin.

but perhaps his views are closer to obamas

at least this is what i've thought lately--if hillary is no longer ahead he might have second thoughts, therefore i would need to rethink this--which i don't want to deal with

i do know that kucinich said he probably will NOT endorse either one. he was on randi's show last week and said that.

13. Based on where his prominent advisors and supporters have gone
you'd have to think he will endorse Obama. But it looks like he's giving both of them a fair shot at the endorsement. That's what I would hope at least.

Most of his supporters are going to Obama, including those who endorsed him. Not to mention there is that whole status quo vs change thing.

21. Hillary. Her healthcare plan mirrors his, and her policies would benefit the middle class.
Not only that, but like Edwards...she is talking in depth about the issues and offering real solutions to the problems we face.

Clinton/Edwards anyone? Or President Clinton with Attorney General Edwards?

23. He'll endorse Clinton
People forget that Obama is the reason his campaign failed. Had Obama not entered the race, it would likely have been Hillary and JE as the anti-Hillary. I think he's always resented that, and I don't think he'd be human if he didn't. Let's face it, most of Hillary's and Barack's policies are similar. I predict that Edwards endorsement of Hillary will be as much slam against Obama as anything and that he'll endorse her this evening in Virginia.

of all candidates be it republican or democratic and that in itself is evil.

Edwards Knows Better.
