Hillary Obama math thread: pledged O=1000/C=922
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 09:49 PM by CreekDog
Clinton ALL STATE STRATEGY:

Can Clinton win nearly 60% of the all pledged delegates after Tuesday?

Potomac Tuesday O 141 C 97 (Obama takes 70%DC/60%MD/55%VA)
O=1141 C=1019

1310 pledged delegates to be decided after this Tuesday:

percentage of delegates after Tuesday Clinton needs to have plurality of 1 pledged delegate:
59.3

percentage of delegates after Tuesday Obama needs to have plurality of 1 pledged delegate:
40.7

CLINTON OHIO-TEXAS-PENNSYLVANIA STRATEGY:
(assume Obama and Clinton split delegates except Hillary posts big wins in three states)

percentage of delegates Clinton needs in these 3 states to have plurality of 1 pledged delegate:
71.3

percentage of delegates after Tuesday Obama needs to have plurality of 1 pledged delegate:
28.7

==========================================

assumptions: (O/C)
uncounted ME 2/1
DC 27/11
MD 59/42
VA 55/44
source: 2/10 RCP showing pledged O=998 C=921 with 3 ME delegates not yet allocated.
Also shows Obama with 137 supers Clinton with 213 although supers are not pledged.
===========================================

I'm doing a little math and how on earth does she pull this off? I'm not counting superdelegates because they can change their mind.
