Is there a Libertarian candidate running yet or any rumors?

So many Libertarians are PISSED at Bush. I really think if a qualified Libertarian ran, he could take a lot of votes away from Bush this year. Many Libertarians are actually calling Bush "liberal" (because of his spending) and they can't stand him for his spending, deficits, the Patriot Act, the proposed amendment into our bedrooms, etc. I really think that many Libertarians that usually vote Republican would vote Libertarian this year if given the choice.

1. While many Libertarians are pissed at Bush ...
the Libertarians I've had contact with vote Libertarian, period. They won't vote Dem or repug.

2. Really?
All the Libertarians I know voted for Bush in 2000 (kind of like how many greens will vote dem in a close election).

I just think that they might be pissed enough to not vote for him in 2004 and not care if the Dem wins.

3. they could take alot of votes away from Kerry too
libertarians or Libertarians or libertines can agree with democrats on many things. They don't affect republicans in the same way greens do democrats. what we want to happen is have a strong southern-party type arch-conservative right winger run. Like Roy Moore.

4. Last time I looked
which was admittedly a few months ago, they seemed to just have a bunch of loonies who were loony in different ways, and were from different states, but no one with the relative moderation and name recognition of Harry Brown.
