Kerry's delegate count is 1751, with Florida and Missippi. Should top 2000 by the end of the evening after Texas comes in.

7. Impressive showing for Edwards given his departure from the race
gives a bit of credence to the pull that his supporters refer to when discussing possible running mates for Kerry.

10. terrible turnout
in Broward, which has the most Democrats in the state, and gave 67% of votes to Gore, had just 16% turnout, and that was WITH important city elections being held today too
