Why did Hillary not speak out against renditions? Abu Ghraib? Gitmo? Torture?
A recent film called "Taxi to the Dark Side" has brought all that senseless evil to light again along with the fact its only purpose apart from sheer psychopathy was to produce phony intelligence to prop up the Bush-Cheney invasion of Iraq.

Why did Hilly go along with it? If she was deceived, she's a loser. If she was triangulating, as is more likely, she's an amoral collaborator and war criminal.

For those still wondering what "change" means, it means coming to grips with this cancerous and shameful episode in US imperialism and bringing its perpetrators including Mrs. Clinton to justice.

1. Because she has no commitment to our ideals, because she doesn't care
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 10:14 AM by TexasObserver
Hillary is about one thing and one thing only: Hillary.

Everything she does is calculated to advance her almost insane desire to be president. She's a mediocre mind and a mediocre talent, with an ability to use other people to get what she wants. She's ridden Bill's talents and success for the past 35 years, and if she hadn't, she'd just be another Harriet Meirs, sitting in some big firm somewhere.

7. She's awfully good at swiftboating however
as long the opponent is another Dem. When it comes to GOP neocons, she's their girl.

8. She's still a Goldwater Girl at heart.
And she has run a campaign that looks like it is designed by Karl Rove and the ghost of Lee Atwater.

Her campaign is a reflection of who she is, and it's not a pretty picture.

2. "29% syndrome": no matter how popular the party one lives in fear of the 29% that don't like her.

Mostly because that 29% includes all the executive class that feeds her the big money.

3. With a record like that I'd be padding my resume too.
The mind-boggling part is how she ever got this far. Her record in the Senate is a disgrace.

4. I think the other guy was in congress at that time.
I sure as heck didn't see "no campaign" against any of that by him...but then bash Hillary, hell now the other guy's supporters are basing her for the floods, the wind, the snow the rain and all the WW combined.

6. The other guy didn't vote up Kyl-Lieberman.
He's also not the wife of a popular two-term president. Hilly had the opportunity to lead the charge against this insanity and instead she not only kept silent, she went along with it.

How weak is THAT??!!

9. the real "Hillary"

It Doesn't Matter If Hillary Apologizes for Her Iraq War Vote

By Scott Ritter, AlterNet. Posted March 3, 2007.

http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/48729/?page=1

"Let there be no doubt that Hillary Clinton is about as slippery a species of politician that exists, one who has demonstrated an ability to morph facts into a nebulous blob that blurs the record and distorts the truth. While she has demonstrated this less than flattering ability on a number of issues, nowhere is it so blatant as when dealing with the issue of the ongoing war in Iraq and her vote in favor of this war."
