In a few minutes I'll be on my way to a Baton Rouge polling place...
to vote for Hillary.

Judging from the promos I see and hear and from my conversations with locals it's quite unlikely she'll win here in Louisiana, though.

Why am I voting for Hillary? For some reason I feel that at this point in history it's more important symbolically to have a woman president than a black one.

You have only a few minutes to change my mind, not that it's likely. :)

3. Good to see your voting regardless of who you support
I have heard it will be a low turnout. Have you heard anything?

5. The turnout will be pretty high here in Baton Rouge, I think
There's a vote scheduled for a new fancy schmancy casino that has attracted a lot of interest.

6. Yes, that's my reason
You see... I think racism in this country, while not eliminated by a long shot, is at least almost universally condemned publicly. I can't say the same about sexism... there's a large segment of our population that still believes and asserts that wives and women are subjects to their male masters.

9. So you are voting for her because she is a woman...
o..k..a..y :eyes: ...what ever happened to judging someone not by their gender or the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Don't get me wrong... I don't mind someone voting for Hillary because they think she is the best person for the job. But, voting for her because she is a woman is wrong.

10. As a Clinton supporter.....
......I detest the idea of voting for someone on the basis of "making history". What will it be after a woman and a person of color become president? The first midget? The first Wiccan? The first six-toed president? The premise is bullshit. You vote for a candidate because you feel they are most qualified to lead our nation.

Change your mind? I doubt it. I hope you are voting for her because you believe she is the most qualified.

13. She's not my choice, but it's not my vote.
I think Hillary is a disgusting candidate who is not a Democrat at heart, but simply an ambitious person who stands for whatever she thinks will get her the next thing on her ambition list. Like Tracy Flick, the character from Election modeled after Hillary.

But it's your vote, and if you want to vote for her because she has a vagina, that's your choice. If she didn't, we wouldn't be discussing her, because no one would have ever heard of her, and her support would be around 2% of the party.

There will be an outstanding woman we will get behind for president eventually, but she won't be anything like Hillary. She'll be someone who won without running as a former first lady, someone who has done more than mine the marketing power of an ex president with an inability to distinguish between proper and improper conduct.

14. Election fraud, fundraising fraud, influence peddling,
race baiting, yeah I guess if all that didn't change your mind, you aren't going to change it now. Voting for a woman is all that matters.
