It was a mistake to rail only at Bush and Cheney ....
Bush and Cheney will soon be gone, and so those bogeymen will become passe, and fade into the backround ....

The problems we have faced have been caused DIRECTLY by REPUBLICAN policies, promoted by republicans, supported by republicans, and voted into law by republicans (with some help from unthinking Democrats)

The Social Security privitization issues ... The push into Iraq while Osama roamed free in the Pakistani tribal areas ... The Katrina response .... Health Care problems AND the current economic troubles can be DIRECTLY tied to conservative LOW WAGE NON-UNION policies .... They have had their way for decades, and have destroyed the decent wage scales, pensions and health care that our parents fought so hard to achieve ...

It wasn't just Bush and Cheney who promoted these destructive ideals ..... It was the movers and shakers in republican circles who have led us astray ....

THEY are to blame ... and they now stand ready to promote a John McCain, or a Mike Huckabee, to continue the same widely detrimental policies that should have been cast out long ago ....

Yes: Bush and Cheney SHOULD be revealed as the greedy, thieving bastards they always were, but they are not alone .....

The Democratic party has already wasted too much time with underwhelming political strategies .... They needed to call out the GOP at every chance .....

I hope it isn't too late ....

1. Let's pray that Barak or Hillary will take off their "sheep" outfit,
If they ever get elected.

Who's the most likely to get tough and rally Congress? I don't know, I'd guess Barak.

Who has the most ability to kick ass? No doubt Hillary. I'm just guessing that kicking ass on the establishment is not that high on her agenda.

Just a wag folks, I have no way of knowing.

But that's why I'm with Barak.

2. Im with either one ....
Im with the big picture ....

I am troubled that insufficient effort has been made on the 'vision' level ..... Things like how families are compensated for their work .... Question like "How affordable is schooling" and "how much will your pension be when you retire ?" are rarely asked .... Why ????

The number of great Liberal traditions that have been shrunk or been discarded, without hardly a word mentioned by our own side .... I get frustrated that no traction is found, even when the opposition party has been found clearly incompetent or guilty of criminal acts ...

There has been no 'big ideas' that resonate and inspire ....

It's kinda sad ....

3. That's what I was sort of inferring
I think the job of most politicians is to inspire as much as possible while saying as little as possible. Or, as the case is with Chimpy, just lying. While at the same time, staying off of the Cabal's radar.

With luck, one of the two will be elected. At that point, it doesn't matter what the establishment thinks.

Who will rally the troops and make the needed changes?
