3. I never thought I would say this...
but Bush I wasn't nearly as much of an evil fuck up as his son is. There's a big difference between the two (both suck, BTW).

But if I hadn't clicked I wouldn't have found this tasty bit from the time capsule...
Peabody...to the Wayback Machine!

Excerpt from Bill the Schneid in May of '03:
http://www.aei.org/news/newsID.17226,filter./news_detail.asp

"What does the president have to say about red ink? "I'm concerned about the deficit," he told the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on May 6. "But I'm not as concerned about the deficit as I am about people trying to find work."

Bush appears to be making headway by selling his tax cuts as a program to rescue the economy. "Our motto is this," he said. "If tax relief is good for Americans years from now, it is even better when the American economy needs it today."

The president has sustained his personal popularity quite nicely since the end of the war in Iraq, most notably when he played "Top Gun" aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1. Bush's job-approval ratings have held steady at around 70 percent since the beginning of the war. It's as if the president has reached his upper limit and is staying there."

7. It's getting harder every day to figure out which one of these "pundits"
is a bigger pile of shit.

First I think it's Hannity, then Matthews opens his mouth, then Lady Borgia chimes in and then Scheider trumps everyone. What a collection of evil Grima-clones (with a nod to my fellow LotR fans) infect and infest the tv screen these days.

Scum, one and all.

10. I don't know anything about Schneider's politics...
...but I do know that he almost never says anything remotely insightful. Christ, I could do his job better than he does.

15. Schnieder set up his simplistic comparison chart to make the election
seem closer. It's much easier to steal a close election, so CNN will condition the public to accept the idea that it will be close to the end.

16. Kerry is no Dukakis
If Kerry keeps Buschco on the offensive like this, Bushco will get trounced. I do not remember Dukakis being on the offensive much aganist Bush 41.
