1. what I saw wans't complete...that said, he shouldn't have been suspended...
...he made a dumb comment and really didn't seem to realize it was offensive. You've got to remmeber they said this aboiut Hilary's daughter, and if you don't think there was a larger reaction because of that, you're mistaken.

3. he just apologized again on "Tucker"
(which is the show he was guest hosting yesterday when he made the remark)

I didn't see any other ones, but I've heard one this morning was of the "I'm sorry if you were offended" variety. This was a real one.

4. What I saw wasn't an apology for his actions.
It was an apology that other people got offended by his words, but not an admission that his words were sexist.

I am always amused when people want so desperately for everyone to move along, stop dwelling on little things like sexism and racism, nothing to see here.

They are usually the people who have something to gain from not casting any light on it.
