On Shuster, Chelsea, DU, and the bush twins

You should have seen the flack i took when I objected to the bush twins being called drunken slut's and whores on DU when they made the tabloids in Argentina.

I was accused of being a freeper. By a whole lot of people. I saw very few DUers condemning that kind of sexists foul language.

Some who are right now objecting to what Shuster said were gleefully calling the twins every name in the book.

What Shuster said was wrong. He wasn't wrong to criticize the Clinton double standard, that Chelsea is off limits to reporters, yet acting as a spokesperson/surrogate for the campaign. But his choice of language was wrong.

None o the DUers (and there were 40 or 50 at least) were suspended from DU for much worse statements.

Just saying...

PS, to those who criticized the twins for setting a bad example as de facto American ambassadors, I think you are right. I had no problem with that, but I did have a problem with the vile characterizations.
