Do we get it here? The Clintons run on outrage.
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 05:00 PM by Big Blue Marble
They thrive on it. They paint themselves as victims; then use the outrage to get attention and sympathy.

They will use it time and again. They play the media as a violin to hyperbolic levels.

The intent is bring sympathy, get attention, and shut out Obama's message.

I am sick of it.

The tears in NH. Bill screaming at reporters that Hillary's supporters were going to get a raw deal in NV.

The "rebuffed offer of a handshake at the state of the union."

And now the outrage about Chelsea. Schuester was wrong to say such a gross thing. But watch them blow it
up to a fever pitch. To bad it is Friday. The View won't be on until Monday. I bet that will be the first topic
for the ladies.

This is how they want to win the presidency playing the victim card and seething with faux outrage. It seems to work
for them every time.

I, for one, am very, very tired of the tactic.

1. And they're going to use it to run away from the debates they challenged Obama to accept.
I guess they thought they'd have a good issue to ride for a few days; instead, they needed to find an excuse to back out.

It was the AA community that rose in protest over the remarks that Bill and their minions were making.

That is why they have dramatically turned from the Clintons. The relationship between the Clintons
and the black community will never be the same.

Winning is a good thing, remember? We want the Democrats to win. The msm is not exactly a level playing field. If Hillary Clinton knows how to manipulate the right-wing press, more power to her.

If Obama wins the nomination, I hope everybody pays close attention to what the GOP campaign machine does to him. Because they'll do to him exactly what they've been doing to the Clintons for the last 15 years. We'll be hearing the phrase "Obama fatigue" by no later than October.

It won't be pretty, and ignoring them won't work. Our experience in 2000 and 2004 should have taught us at least that much. I hope Obama's campaign has a better plan than that.

One of the things I liked about Edwards was that he based his campaign on the idea that we have to "fight" these people. He's right. "Reaching across the isle" means nothing to the GOP, or the plutocrats behind them.

Go Figure.

I think Schuster was elevated fast but, in essence, IMNSHO, he's a damn good investigative reporter when he stays on script.

But this FALSE OUTRAGE on The Clintons and their supporters part is getting *obscene.*

They think that it will play like it did in the 1990s when "ALL OF US" (myself included) would run to their defense.

What The Clintons and their Mighty SMARMY DLC Campaign machine are slow to realize is that MORE AND MORE Democrats are growing *annoyed* of this tired old "I'm a victim" tactic.

I hope it figuratively blows-up in The Clintons faces by them losing votes from old-time democrats in the future.

They are the ones driving this story. Do you get it? They are the ones making sure that

If the use of the work "fairytale" about a voting record on Iraq is a slur at black aspirations for social justice, saying that someone is pimping their daughter is calling her a whore and them pimps of the worst kind imaginable.

Chelsea and her parents deserved that no more than John Kerry and his daughters would have deserved being called pimps and whores on national television in 2004, for the campaign work they did for their father.
