Schuster apologized. What more do you perfect people want ?
So he made a mistake. Is life a game where if you make one mistake, you are thrown overboard? Call 60 Minutes. I have some breaking news for you. None of us are perfect. Not you. Not I. Not Obama. Not Hillary. And not David Schuster.

It was not that long ago that I recall he was one of DU's favorites. When he was attacking the right-wingers and making us all feel good. But he said something about Chelsea. Even though he apologized, it's time to feed him to the sharks. What does this say about DU? About us?

To me, his comments are in the same league as IMUS, and he should resign.

It was better that he got booted. Shuster isn't perfect, but he's more right than not. And that's rare in the MSM.

12. Well, I stopped listening to him when he started attacking a democrat
non-stop. He is on the attack-Clinton bandwagon that is currently bombarding our airwaves. Some can stand up to the peer pressure, obviously not Schuster. He has proven himself a shill with no credibility as a serious reporter.

38. There is a difference between "uttering a critical word" and the
constant barrage of attacks against Clinton. If you do not see it, it is because you choose not to. YOu are sleeping with the enemy because for the momenty they are crowing the candidate you support.

Ed Schultz has an all out blitz to get rid of Clinton. He was recently on Tweety and they compared her to Hitler and baby killing. Listen to him once in a while. He is not unbiased.

Our airwaves are for all of us...not just the rush limbaughs and the Obama supporters. There should be a level playing field where we hear the truth...not this distorted ugly constant attacks that are designed to ruin Clinton.

I think that's why "us/we people" are upset. A pattern of denigration and sexism that is rampant on MSNBC. I ask you if you would have been satisfied with just an apology if this was said about Mrs. Obama.

Being disingenuous in maintaining an outrage after the fact is faux outrage.

You need to go back and reread Rove's campaign strategies again.

and it went on for a long time before he really got called on it. An over the line culture has been setting in at MSNBC. This complaint is taking on the pattern, not just the isolated instances.

Their M.O. is clear, neither Tweety NOR Schuster DARE SAY anything negative about the ROYALTY that is "The Clinton Family Members" lest they be labeled "sexist" or "Hillary-haters."

This is such sick stuff and EXACTLY what the right-wing did to protect George W. Bush.

28. "Their M.O. is clear....."
Can you imagine how little criticism of the Clintons we might see from the MSM if Hillary is elected?

No one would dare to investigate any Hillary policies.

No one would dare to question why she wont give up the Executive powers Bush instituted.

No one would dare to question why she isnt getting us out of Iraq.

And we thought the MSM cowered to the Bush administration.........

The inevitability has been stripped away, now the do and say anything "I'm in it to win it" Hil campaign is desperately clinging to things that aren't even remotely related to Obama for political gain.

29. And now MSNBC is bending over backwards.
Yesterday, I counted three times in his show that Tweety held back. For example, he briefly referred to the new poll showing Obama beating McCain by 17 points (Hillary ties), but he didn't show it. Clearly they are now treating her with kid gloves in response to the complaining. I prefer straightforward news, not this packaged BS.

The MSM is unwatchable and nowhere in the ballpark of imparting actual news. It's like we are in junior high school all over again.

33. Anyone who is on the air will eventually make a mistake.
It's live TV. You can't take back what you said once you said it even though you might want to. And to suggest that he should be taken off the air for one slip of the tongue is laughable. Is this what we have come to? Anytime a political commentator makes a mistake and says something wrong then they are immediately taken off the air? If that is our standard then pretty soon there would be no commentators left.

I really like Shuster because of his relentless quest to get to the bottom of the Scooter Libby mess. There was no reporter who tried to dig as deep and get to the real truth. Shuster was and is a real thorn in the side of Dick Cheney and Cheney's cronies, and we Democrats should thank him for that.

43. This is bigger than just HRC, folks...
If Obama gets the nom tomorrow, he's going to have to deal with these asshats-with-microphones until November, and hopefully beyond. Yup, I said it; I want THE Democratic nominee to win.

Anyhoo, it is high time for the MSM to learn some manners. This Fox-Lite bullshit is unacceptable. They say this about Chelsea today....tomorrow it'll be about Michelle. This shock-jock bullshit has to stop, and I mean right fucking now.

Y'all need to cast off your primary-colored glasses and see the forest for the trees: the Dems are calling the shots with the MSM for the first time in years. When they speak, the MSM jumps. Hillary says don't talk smack about my daughter; they react. If Obama says jump, they'll ask how high. THAT should be something to be happy over. Because even if Obama wins, he will still reap the rewards.

I know y'all are so hateful to All Things Hillary that you can't see how this is GOOD for the Dems, overall, but I guarantee it, the next time some talking head thinks about being cute n' smarmy, and thus disrespectful to OUR candidate/eventual nominee/eventual POTUS, they'll think twice.
