Domestic issues lift Kerry in new poll
From USA Today

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/polls/2004-03-08-poll_x.htm

<snip>
After locking up the Democratic presidential nomination, John Kerry leads President Bush 52%-44%, largely because people say Kerry would handle domestic issues better.
The Massachusetts senator's 8-point lead with likely voters in the USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll comes after he won nine of 10 crucial primaries and caucuses last Tuesday

1. This is good news
but we can't afford to get cocky. Kerry needs to remain on the attack. His remarks about the importance of Bush coming clean to the 911 commission yesterday were right on, and I have started to warm up to the man. I'm sure there are others like me, folks who have pledged ABB, but didn't really like Kerry all that much. By showing he is willing to answer any accusations of the Shrub and then come back attacking with the truth about this mal-Administration, Kerry is showing folks he can be a fighter and not a cold patrician. Keep it up, Kerry!
