If you want 4 more years of George W Bush....?
then vote for John McCain. If you like the way Jr has run the war in Iraq, you will love the way McCain will run it. He has publically stated that we may be there for a hundred years. If you want to add $3 trillion more dollars to the debt, then vote for John McCain. If you want to continue borrowing $200 billion a year for the war in Iraq, then vote for McCain. It's not like we will ever have to pay it back.

If you believe McCain and the Republicans can balance the budget with this agenda, then you are a candidate for the nut house. You probably also believe in the tooth fairy? You want 4 more years of George W Bush?

3. Eh? This is DU. I don't think your post is necessary.
You might drop over to Limbaugh's site and try to convince them that he's Bush III.

4. Go Hillary! Go Obama! Republicans Suck!
Now do I qualify as a cheerleader? You don't think it's a good idea to let the people know that John McCain would only be 4 more years of George W Bush? Even some Democrats that may be so busy cheerleading that they do not see that fact either?

8. Ah, ok. I disagree with you. McCain would not be four more years of George Bush.
It would be four more years of stuff I don't want, but it would be wildly different.

  • He's not a complete idiot.
  • He's not owned by Saudi Arabia/GHW Bush
  • McCain doesn't strike me as an insecure, emotionally retarded child.
  • McCain will not likely strive to be the First American Dictator.
  • He doesn't condone torture.
  • He will likely try to win in Iraq and then get out. Granted, that takes longer than just getting out, but under McCain it's possible that we might acutally get out some day.

  • I don't like McCain, but I can see differences between Bush and him.

9. I disagree with most of your points above.
It's hard to beat Bush in the "idiot" category. Not owned by Saudi Arabia/GHW Bush? We'll have to wait and see on that. "Insecure, emotionally retarded child"? No, but some say an almost uncontrollable anger. He says he doesn't condone torture. I think we can believe him on that point, at least I would hope we could after what he has experienced. He will likely try to win in Iraq? So, do you think it is possible that he might win that war? I could see an expansion of the war to other countries in the Middle East. I think he is more like Bush than he is unlike Bush.

5. If you want to defeat McCain,
help us come up with facts about him that we can use to convince voters not to. There are several, but I want more.

My list:
1. He says we will stay in Iraq "100 years"--that means a drain of resources from our nation for the rest of our lives--do we really want that?

2. He has anger management problems-do we want his finger on the button?

3. His age and health must be taken into account

What else?

6. I think the best issue that Democrats have to defeat McCain...
is to tie him to George W Bush. His policies and continuation of the war will only drive us further into the hole.

putrid corporatist lagniappe thrown in for good measure. :D
